Audrey Szep Fetch, MD

Dr. Audrey Fetch is a board-certified dermatologist and fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology.  She specializes in both general and cosmetic dermatology and enjoys seeing patients of all ages. 

Dr. Fetch grew up in Sierra Madre, California and graduated cum laude from  the University of California, Santa Barbara.  She completed medical school at Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine, where she was elected as a junior member of the prestigious national honor society for top medical students, Alpha Omega Alpha. She was the recipient of the Glasgow Rubin Citation for Female Academic Achievement and the recipient of an Arnold P. Gold Foundation Fellowship Grant to conduct aid work in Haiti.  Dr. Fetch completed her Internship in Internal Medicine at Lenox Hill Hospital and her Dermatology residency at Columbia University-New York Presbyterian Medical Center.      

After completing her training, she returned to California and joined Crane Street Dermatology in 2017. In her spare time she enjoys skiing, running, hiking, and spending time with her husband and 3 young children.

 

Mary Sheu, MD 

Dr. Mary Sheu is a board-certified dermatologist and a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology and the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery. She specializes in both medical and aesthetic dermatology, focusing on improving the health and appearance of the skin. Over the past 20 years, she has focused on minimally invasive approaches to skin rejuvenation, helping patients achieve natural, harmonious results. Dr. Sheu is also deeply committed to helping patients take proactive steps to optimize skin health, with an emphasis on the early detection, treatment and prevention of skin cancer.

A native Californian, Dr. Sheu completed her undergraduate and medical education at Brown University, internal medicine internship at Stanford University and dermatology residency at the Oregon Health Science University.  After her training, she practiced at the Menlo Medical Clinic and was on the adjunct clinical faculty at Stanford. 

Dr. Sheu joined the dermatology faculty at the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine, where practiced medical and aesthetic dermatology for 13 years.  She served as the Director of the Johns Hopkins Aesthetic Dermatology and Laser Program, Medical Director of the Dermatology Center at Green Spring Station, and residency program director, teaching dermatology and plastic surgery resisdents advanced techniques in cosmetic and laser procedures. Dr. Sheu has helped to develop innovative treatments in dermatology, conducted research, authored peer-reviewed publications in the dermatology literature, and lectured at national and international conferences. Dr. Sheu is a Castle Connolly Top Doctor, and was voted one of Baltimore’s Best Dermatologists for 6 years. 

In 2020, Dr. Sheu returned to California with her husband and their two daughters. She enjoys reading, yoga, hiking, and spending time with her family.




Mary Sun, MD

Dr. Mary Sun is a board-certified dermatologist and fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology. She specializes in general dermatology and is dedicated to providing expert, patient-centered care to patients of all ages and skin types.

Dr. Sun earned her undergraduate and medical degrees at Yale University with honors, followed by internal medicine internship at Harvard’s Brigham and Women’s Hospital and dermatology residency at Stanford Hospital and Clinics.

She has authored over 40 peer-reviewed publications and book chapters spanning genodermatoses, cutaneous oncology, medical dermatology and COVID-related skin disease. She developed a novel ichthyosis severity scoring tool for use in clinical practice and prospective trials. Dr. Sun has also presented her research at national and international conferences.

Fluent in Mandarin Chinese, Dr. Sun is committed to providing culturally competent care. She enjoys caring for a wide range of dermatologic needs, with particular interest in skin cancer screening and prevention, medical dermatology and surgical and cosmetic procedures.

Outside of work, Dr. Sun loves to work up a sweat at Lagree and Solidcore, uncover local hidden gems and lose herself in mystery novels. She also enjoys spontaneous trips around the world and is always ready for her next adventure.

 
 
 

In Memoriam

Dr. Recia Kott Blumenkranz

 

Dr. Recia Blumenkranz was a preeminent dermatologist in the Bay Area for more than three decades.

Dr. Blumenkranz was born in Montreal, Canada and received her undergraduate education at Brown University where she was awarded an Sc.B. in biology, Magna Cum Laude. Her first two years of medical school were spent at Stanford, and she did a third year of research in the Department of Pathology. Dr. Blumenkranz then graduated from the University of Miami School of Medicine where her husband was doing his Ophthalmology fellowship. She was elected a member of the medical honor society Alpha Omega Alpha, and received the American Medical Woman's citation. Dr. Blumenkranz completed an internship in Internal Medicine and her Dermatology residency at the University of Miami. Prior to coming to California, she practiced Dermatology at Henry Ford Hospital and William Beaumont Hospital in Michigan.

After moving to California with her family in 1992, Dr. Blumenkranz joined the practice of Dr. Robert Adams, an esteemed Menlo Park practitioner and Stanford clinical faculty member. Since his retirement in 1995 she continued to expand the clinical practice, incorporating many of the newer aesthetic skin care treatments and procedures.

Dr. Blumenkranz cared for countless patients throughout her distinguished career. An exceptionally skilled and compassionate physician, she was deeply committed to excellence in patient care and was held in the highest regard by her colleagues in dermatology and throughout the medical community. Her legacy of compassion, and dedication will endure, and she will be deeply missed.
